Three Ways to Reach Your Resort

There are three transfer options from Malé's Velana International Airport to your resort:

Your transfer type is determined by your resort's location and is confirmed at the time of booking.

Speedboat Transfer

Process

1. Exit the airport and find your resort's counter or sign-holding representative
2. Wait in the resort lounge (air-conditioned with drinks)
3. Staff will escort you to the marina
4. Board the speedboat directly to your resort

• Available for late-night arrivals — you can still reach your island
• May cause motion sickness — take medication in advance if needed
• Luggage goes in the boat's hold; keep valuables with you

Seaplane Transfer

Process

1. Exit the airport and find your resort's counter
2. Take a short shuttle to the seaplane terminal (about 5 minutes)
3. Wait in your resort's private lounge
4. Board the seaplane to your resort
5. The seaplane lands near the resort; a speedboat takes you the final stretch

• Daytime only (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• If you arrive at night, you'll need to stay overnight in Malé
• Luggage limit: 20–25 kg per person
• Seaplanes can be noisy — consider bringing earplugs
